devils hand has bad branch?

Picured the same coral. I found what I think is Planaria on my devils hand, (pic with it closed) just behind it my birdnest frag lost all tissue. Now the devils hand (picured open)has a branch that appears to have lost tissue.(the whiteish looking arm) Would that be from planaria or something else. I may have iD incorrectly the "bug" but Im fairly positive I have a outbreak of planria. Is there anything I can do to save this devils hand? Will just one section die? Ive done a water change. becuse it looks like cyano (rusty) color on the gravel. goes away when light out out but comes back. Ive used chemiclean so far to try to reduce the cyano. if that's what the rust looking is). Would a dieoff of planaria do that? Ive been picking these things off most in my tank with some success. I am also thinking of adding a Coris Wrass. Am I on the right track? what suggestions to keep from loosing another coral.

How long have you had the coral.

IME pic 1 looks like Waminoa sp. or Convolutriloba retrogemma. Hard to tell from the small pic.

I know 6 line wrasses are notably good at clearing out flatworms. I wouldn't get a coris, that genus tends to pick at corals. A Canary Wrasse may also work. Chelidonura varians would work to, but they are specialists.

I would also remove infected corals from the tank and quarantine till they no longer show symptoms.

Ive had the coral over a year, not sure of it's true name. are you able to click on the pix to make it a bit larger?
Not possible to remove most corals the planariua is everywhere, on zenias, mushrooms,
montis, Ive even seen one swimming in open water. Most of my corals are very imbedded/attached to rock. This is a tank that has been up for severla years. What about springer damsil, do they eat planaria? Is that also what some refer to as red bugs or are those different?
I dip all corals before adding them too but still no guarentee something dosent get in.

it looks similar, yours looks like it spreads, mine has more of a trunk.

Red bugs are not the same as planaria. Red bugs affect SPS and to my knowledge do not affect soft corals like your leather. A wrasse would go to town on these worms. Syphon as many as possible out when you do waterchanges. There is also a product called Flatworm Exit that will kill them but I would only use that as a last resort.

Thanks Kevin, Ive been getting them out with a turkey baster.(after all it past thanksgiving)
Pytochromis -I guess I goffed and put this in the wrong forum thread -should be in the sofies.
Im setting up a QT tank so I can add a corris wrasse or a sprineri Damsel. The spriner damsels are known to eat flatworms, but I dont know if they will also eat planria. I'm hoping someone will know.

is the hitchicker the white thing in the corner or the pinkist thing on the coral?
They both sorta look like slugs/nudis.
