Devil's Hand Leather not responding after tank move

I upgraded my tank from a 40G to 125G. It has been 2 weeks now.
I used the same rocks, water and sand. I added more live rock and more sand.

ALL other corals (duncan, shrooms, hammers, torch, etc.) are doing just as well or better.

However, my Devil Leather shows no polyps. It is not glazed over either.

I read that Leather Corals need more nitrates than other corals.

Since this is a new tank, I know my nitrates are definitely a lot lower than my older tank. But, any other suggestions what to try? Perhaps some additive or coral food? Amino Fuel?

Does it just need more time to adjust?

As long as it's in about the same amount of light/flow it should be alright. You could try feeding it reefroids (or something similar) to see if it comes out. But I think it just needs more time. If you don't see any decaying tissue or dead spots then I wouldn't worry. Leathers can sometimes be picky and take awhile to adjust.

Did light change?
If so, just let him reset, he made need to adjust his photosynthetic processes due to “new”
Lighting.
Say 2-3weeks.....

Actually, no with the lights. I still have the AI Prime HD with the same exact light schedule. As for position, it is about the same...maybe 1in higher. Same flow too.

I would try "reef roids", but it shows absolute no signs of polyps. I see some slight browning on the tips, but just think this is some waste from the tank.

I talked to a few colleagues and they all say the same thing -- "Leathers are complicated, just give it time to adjust".

I know it is not dead, it still curls its "hand" into a ball at night....then open again in the day. Just that there is ZERO visible polyps.

I've had leathers react similarly after being moved, fresh water dipped to remove pests, changed tanks, accidentally dropping a hemostat on it, etc. Sometimes it takes a few days, but always came back. Generally they're very hardy

...and I have one in a tank with no measurable nitrates
