DHL nightmare!

Hi All....DHL just called me and said the order did not come in. They have gone through every order and now it will not be here until Monday at the earliest. :( Just wanted to let you all know.

I agree...It is a TOTAl bummer.....The sad part is that they have NO idea where the package is....On line it is still showing that it never left Riverside...

I will be sending a letter to them. If you're perturbed, you're welcome to send one too.

I know all carriers have problems. I've also had one with UPS, but never with FedEx.

In the future, if it isn't shipped by FedEx, I won't buy it. I have dealt with the local FedEx place before, and they have never done me wrong. They have also bent over backwards to get things straightened out.

Also, the local DHL place says that the package is to be shipped to my house now. I never requested that, nor authorized it.
 
What a bummer. I kind of cringed when I initially saw "DHL" in the thread. :) FE really has the livestock thing down.

The smaller places will let you use the shipping method you choose<If you ask.

When tracking the package, it has the 'Hold at DHL for pickup" and the address for the Tempe location--does the package actually have YOUR address on there? If not, there's no way for them to know where to send it...you'll have to pick it up....

Hopefully when he reships, Fraggle Reef will be willing to use FedEx....
 
I'm very sorry to hear that the order didn't arrive today, even after numerous assurances from DHL that we would at least know SOMETHING by today. We can ship out again on Monday via Fedex if you guys would like, but I would really (even after all of this) recommend DHL. I've had Fedex repeatedly deliver packages in trash bags because they'd beat them up so much, and they will not, as in ever, pay for the damages. DHL, while they do have their occasional screwups every so often, do tend to get stuff there on time and in one piece, just that when they mess up, they do so with style apparently.

Anyone that would like to voice their opinions to DHL please feel free to do so, I can also pm anyone interested the email for my sales rep, who really needs to hear how DHL is coming off due to their mistakes, just please be relatively nice, he is a very nice guy, just works for a company with some nasty errors...

Once again, my very sincerest apologies for the shipping issues, and I'm sure that we can make it go ok this next time around.
 
Just curious, but did you even get a phone call about the box this morning?

My wife thought that the punishment for the dhl folks should be to open the box and packages and take a big whiff. Can't imagine it would be pretty.
 
I received a call yesterday from DHL stating they had lost the package....DUH...I think the new order is suppose to arrive tomorrow....Keep your fingers crossed.....:)
 
Tracked it, and it's in at DHL. Waiting pickup as 'requested'. Don't know if Darlene has heard from them or not--if so, Darlene, OPEN IT OUTSIDE!!! :-D Or, better yet, inside the DHL place....
 
First order is bye-bye. They still don't know where it's at.

Replacement order arrives tomorrow (Wed.). This one is going through FedEx.

It would be so tempting to walk in w/ a Hazmat type suit on, open the box, and leave it sitting there open....
 
I have an old military style chemical/breathing mask that looks really frightening. But, I would imagine you would be arrested the moment that box was opened. Oh, what a sad thing. :(
