DHL nightmare!

also, David, sending you an email right now about the missing acans, sorry for the delayed reply but I've been out of town

I thought I would share my interesting experience I have had with DHL the last couple of days. Well I needed a new battery for my mac agian, and they were overnighting it to me. For some reason apple uses DHL. Well the battery made it to Tempe, but the delivery guy never came to my place. After supposedly coming for two days, I call and ask them what the deal is. There was someone home all day one of the days and they never came by even though they said they did online. Well the DHL rep says that there is a gate and they cant go through. I live in a gated community and never had a problem with packages being delivered before. I told them that I will pick it up from there facility the next day and they said it would be there after 8am. So I go over there after lunch to find out that they delivered to my place finally. I thought that was kind of funny since the package was suppose to be signed for and they had a problem delivering before.

I am so happy with my service (and corals!). Here are a couple more shots of the "mystery coral", it might not be anything rare but the colors are outstanding, the definition is awesome!

Re DHL/FE/UPS. I'm a FE overnight fan. Partly though because the station I pick up at has the best workers. I like their tracking system better than UPS/DHL. I have shipped tons of important "when it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight" business dox and try to use FE. For ground shipments, UPS can't be beat - its just the opposite. But for priority, I always prefer FE. They are typically less expensive than UPS, and FE has better business discounts for heavy shippers. JMVHO!

Gorgeous...if you have a frag robbery, there's gonna be quite a long list of suspects:) Anyway, I only received 1 shipment from DHL. They were late, rude and the box looked like someone had beat the crap out of it. At least FedEx and UPS aren't rude. Weirdly, I haven't ever had any real problems with USPS, I kinda think they get, relatively speaking, underated. Skip is right, airport-airport is the best way to go, but not a lot of places offer it.

Actually someone on reefcentral has a sig to the effect "if you want livestock left in the middle of your driveway without anyone letting you know its arrived, you can rely on DHL". Dang, I can't remember who it is....was pretty funny 'tho.
