anyone know where to get DI resin for a refillable cartridge? I'm looking for best price (assuming all DI resins are of equal quality.)

Thanks in advance.

The problem is not all resins are of equal quality. Some resins will remove silica and some will not. Some DI setups will rapidly exhaust the anion portion of a mixed bed (due to CO2 in the supply water) and some will not.

I use a specialized resin, because polyphosphosous is put in Rockford's water to ensure that iron remains in solution. This polyphosphorous goes right through a RO unit and can exhaust the normal DI resin rapidly. Also, non-indicating resin lasts 2-3x as long as color indicating in my experience.

So, be careful in assuming all resins are equal.

That being said, there was a recent group buy offer from resin depot (resindepot.com) I believe, look in CMAS forum for the thread. I buy my resin from Spectrapure, because of the issues I described above. Much more $ than normal resin initially, but worth it when performance and cartridge life expectancy are figured in.
