diablo 3500 problems

so my diablo 3500 dc return pump stopped working, controller and power supply are ok, I can restart it if I spin the impeller by hand but it will not restart on its own. any one run across this before/? already had it in a vinegar bath

Same thing is happening on my 3500s for my reef octopus skimmer.. You ever figure out the problem?

Having the same problem here as well. Anyone got a solution better than buying a replacement pump?
