I'm guessing ich but spots seem raised on powder blue... just got these fish last week and they seemed to be doing great until I noticed this last night...would it be safe to dose tank with paraguard as I unfortunately don't have a QT tank set up any longer. My parameters are all spot on and tank has been well established for over 4 years... I do have a few bubble tip nem and a 4 year old 2 foot snowflake eel in tank so I'm concerned about dosing with paraguard...any help would be appreciated from those that may have had similar problems and used this product...thanks in advance..

Good job on the photos.. I'm never able to capture that clear of a still shot. It sure looks like ich to me. Now that you have good baseline photos you can keep an eye on the spots over the next few days. If you see them disappearing from those exact spots and reappearing in other spots that can pretty much confirm ich for you.

Thanks for the response...yes woke up this morning to check on them and all spots where gone....will keep eyes open and see what happens...

No don't keep eyes on them. You need to take action and get them out and treat properly and let the tank go fallow for 90 days. My preferred treatment is TTM.

Would do that if it was possible but if you read my thread I don't have a QT set up and will need to dose with paraguard which was my initial question if it safe to dose whole DT while having a bunch of RBTA's in tank...

I ran a course of kick-ick and it seemed to work. No QT and reef safe.
