Diamond Back Gobie Herpes?

I have a Diamond Back Gobie, who recently began showing signs of some kind of abrasion or growth on his face. I thought maybe he might have hurt himself while sifting sand, but then I have noticed that it's getting worse. Now, I fear this may be something different, and was hoping that someone could help me identify what this might be, and what I should do about it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would try para-dipping the fish and see if it helps. that would be my first attempt to cure the fish. but if it is on the fish its going to be most definitely in ur water column. best of luck
