Awesome news! Now take our advice and make yourself a screen top ASAP! They're not expensive at all and easy to DIY. Better safe then sorry... and then in the future you'll be able to rule out jumping.

i was ****ing surprised as hell!!
first of some how it jumped into the over flow on my cube which is 2 inches above the water level and then somehow managed to squeeze into my durso to end in the sump...that fish is loco

Yeah that'll happen. Not much you can do except make sure your overflow box isn't too low in the water. You could try to screen it off, but that's a little risky and maybe more trouble than it's worth.
I use a Hofer Gurgle Burster (http://home.everestkc.net/jrobertson57268/HGB/, which helps a ton with the noise. However, it prevents fish from getting sucked into the sump... but then they're stuck in the overflow box... which can be worse lol.
