he looks awesome I've been kinda on the fence I went with a Tiger wardi goby he's only an inch atm pretty shy hoping he becomes more social

I didn't see him much for the first couple weeks. Now he comes to greet me every time I walk near the tank!! He sure does move some sand though.

Yeah, I love mine. Mine is completely re-landscaping my tank. Here's a video of him bulldozing the left side of my tank. That sand pile used to be completely flat (level with the rim of the tank), and it's even higher now than when I took this video.

I'm been eyeing a DWG vs a YWG, I think I like the DWG better. Is he regularly out and about? I prefer not to have fish that hide most of the time.

Very nice Goby!
Picked up one a little while back myself, and he has made dramatic changes in my tank. Definitely makes the sand bed look cleaner. As a side effect, my Yellow Watchman Goby tends to come out and socialize more.

Wait until you have sand all over your rocks and corals. I got rid of mine years ago for that reason.

Although they are a cool fish.

Mine is out from 9:00AM (sunlight from the window) till the lights start dimming at 10:00PM. I have never had an issue with him burying stuff either.

Yeah, mine is out most of the time, although he does spend some time in his under-rock den.

NOTE: Two things to consider if you want one. One, they will bury corals near the bottom of the tank. And two, your rock work better be directly on the bottom glass. If it's on sand, it will shift and/or topple over.
