Wife and kids love the thing, but the constant cloud of silt in the water collumn is frustrating.

I think it's time.....

I like to thread the opening of a medium - large clear bag around a metal coat hangar to use as a net. I have caught a sohal as well as a rabbitfish that way. I will also sometime put a sheet of acryllic in to partition off a section of the tank.

PS. Shoot me a PM about tomorrow Brian if you can. Thanks

i used a 2 liter pop bottle to remove a wrasse once. Cut the top off the bottle right where it starts to curve at the top. Remove the hard screw on the top part large enough for the fish to fit through. Take the part that you cut off and slide it inside the bottle and put a few pieces of tape to make it hold. get your fish hungry and put some food inside and cross your fingers.

Hey Cully,
I've had mine in both oolytic sand (29g) and (currently) aragamax seaflor (65g). I've never had too much of a problem, but there are times with the fine sand that mine could stir things up a bit. Sorry you have to part with him, they are a great fish! I love mine, and the substrate is squeaky clean!
