Diamond tails not huge but I've seen some pretty impressive flashers that rival the Cirrhilabrus males I've seen but generally speaking they fall between 2"-3" range.

Mine is pushing 3". My LFS has an older one in their display tank. IIRC it is at least 3.5".

IME, yes my flashers bounce off the net top every time I put food in. Both are extremely jumpy though and I wouldn't consider either without my top.

+1 I've got a few Cirrhilabrus who might be the worst offenders in my tank at feeding time, but it's a pretty close toss up. A Halichoeres is my worst offender at splashing with a tail whip.

OK thats cool. I have a net on my top, but the meshes are not thaaaaaat small.. Last time my longnose hawkfish jumped out of the tank and I just saw how he jumped right through a mesh like a pro. But these guys are known as jumpers imo.

Still waiting for the price from my LFS. Hopefully the price will be under 200 bucks here in switzerland.

You need 1/4" mesh. I assume you have 1/2"? If so, almost any smaller/medium wrasse will fit out of that.

This is like 0.5cm if I exchange that correct. I have like 1/2", thats correct sir! Maybe I will prepare my mesh to 1/4" tonight.

I have to intro some new wrasses in the next few weeks.

Still waiting for the price.. I cannot wait longer man I want that diamond tail NOW!
