Different Aqua Jrs?

Are there different types of Aqua Jrs? I have seen people online talking about ones with or without seriel ports. Does it matter which unit one you get and if you can hook it up to a laptop for aqua notes? The unit I am getting is the one from Marinedepot item #NS1153.

Yes, there are two different versions of the Jr. One with a serial port and one without. I believe that Marine Depot is only selling the Jr. without the serial port.

So is there going to be a way that I can connect this unit to my computer by using Aquanotes?

Not if there is no serial port.

Well since I am buyign this from someone else and it is brand new I might just get it and sell it for a serial port model.
