I know that if it's white and stringy probably parasites.
What if my dwarf flame had long green, thick and stringy fecal matter. It looks otherwise healthy, but has taken a liking to the seaweed provided for my other fish.
I could treat my entire display tank, but would rather not.

As long as the constipation doesn't go on for too long I don't worry about it.
