Digital Aquatics Archon Owners Thread

I will have to give it another shot this afternoon after we get back from doing "chores". I will:

Clean probe with R/O
Put in 10.0 solution
Hit Reset values
Hit Start Calibration
Wait 10 minutes, press copy next to 10.0
Clean probe with R/O
Put in 7.0 solution
Wait 10 minutes, press copy next to 7.0
Press Finish
Press Save

CORRECT??
I think you only press finish. Hit reset value first if you have tried the calibration already that might fix the value displayed. The reset value button is not a part of a normal calibration and is not always needed.

Yea but don't hold it to time mike. Just watch the reading every few minutes and it is still trending a direction wait. I hit copy a few times (maybe every time I check it) to ensure it don't timeout. Then when it is not trending a direction I move on

Things working again. Not sure why, but after reloading with fresh flash and re-initializing and reprograming entire system, everything working as advertised now. Just have to play with SL2v2 probe calibrations a little. They seem different (don't change when start is initiated), but not a real problem at the moment.

Entire 300 gallon set up is now switched over. Three power bars, SL1, SL2, DCI (wavemakers), IOE (I/O interface), CaRx control, Skimmer, ATO, Swabbie, T5's, heater, float/level safety, waterbug protection, Salinity monitor, pH monitor, temp (ambient and tank and compensation for SL2). Probably missing something, but basically everything plugged in and running. Alarms/Floats all checked out and functioning good. Email alarms set up as well as remote access via port forwarding.

That sounds great Mike.

Are you talking about the start of the calibration. It takes awhile on some of the modules before you start getting a raw data display. I just calibrated the pH and salinity probe today on my SL2v2.

Yes, first time i have tried with SL2v2. I will give it a shot tomorrow and let them sit a while. Thanks Danny!

I need to redo mjne. I'll do it this eve.

So glad to hear it is running now

still getting a false alarm on temp high, can't figure that out, but again, not an issue at the moment. The graphs are stable on the temp that I am using for the high temp alarm and the alarm says 84.5 when the temp shows stable at 78.5.

im just going to drop this right here....

Something Ken Salomon has cooked up for you guys and the Archon. it is pretty slick. How will you use this?

The only one I moved over last nignt was the temp alarms. No false alarms on mine last night.

Mike, they removed the reset value button on the input port screen also. I guess they are doing that automatically now when you calibrate the port. I had to recalibrate my SLX ports after the update. All the others were fine.

So the new update has not worked out well for me.
Once installed the Hardware update accessible on the Systems page doesn't seem to take. Once it is done the Systems page still indicates update available and all the inputs and outputs are not showing

Thanks 'yall. I'm stuck

type into the commands section "GetVersions()" then hit "send"

refresh page after a few seconds

When mine came back with HW version 1.01.1 it was "not good". Happened a few times to me and each time, the unit was bricked..... Not saying that is what happened, but if what Ken says doesn't work, you may need to get with Eric.

The hardware update is the one you have to wait around 5 minutes to make sure it completly updates. It sounds like you need to contact DA support and get Eric involved if what Ken has suggested doesn't work. I wait 10 minutes just to make sure before I reset the controller.

so the getversions() command gave me this...

GetVersions() returned:
<Warning>'No returned data!'</Warning>

I'm guessing that's bad.....

I've got an email in to Eric.

Did you refresh the page? It always says that....because the command has no data to return, it just resyncs things on the backend
