Digital Aquatics Archon Owners Thread

Lol I take back all the bad stuff I was thinking about the Archon its starting to work pretty well. I feel dumb actually, last weeked I bought a Neptune Apex because I didnt think I would get this working. Patients is a virtue that I do not have.
 
Lol. Good deal. Glad to hear it is working. So, there is a pin out on this thread and in manual for archon. U just make your a rj45 connector then hardwire n into the appropriate wires. I did that when doing a custom harness for my lights.

Anyone running the digital aquatics dosing pumps? I am using a Jebao doser right now but I want the archon to control dosing so I'm looking at those or the BRS dosers. Not sure which way to go

One thought on mounting all the equipment: I bought a stock cabinet (12"x30") from Home Depot and mounted all the modules in it. It sits next to my stand.

Use the min and max settings to set the minimum flow and maximum flow of you pump. I don't use the DCI since I have Vortech's for flow.

I have three of the DP1 dosing pumps. I use one for top off and the other two are for auto water change. All three pumps are in thr garage and the tank is about 35 ft away. the tubing is run through the attic and walls. I have no issues with these pumps. I did calibrate both the water change pumps to match their flow rate to each other.
 
If using the archon outputs use advanced wavemaker. Set min and max and pulse. Also set master as one of the two. Make sure u have power thru the dci

I have never used the BRS doser. The DP1 plugs into the buss and You can use just one power supply for more than one pump as long as they are in close proximity on the buss. I think one with the power supply is sold as a master. That is the only difference.
 
Danny is that how you match flow with the DA pumps? Do you set the min max for each pump until the flow matches?

I'm definitely leaning towards the DA pumps, since I have to order a pb8 now. For whatever reason I didn't think I needed to power my pumps when using the DCI. So I'm gonna need a few more outlets
