You should see the Archon show up as wifi connection. Have you tried connecting to the Archon hot spot and use 192.168.10.1 as the IP address? This should get you to the home page if the web server is up and running.

Yes I connect to Archon hot spot. Get the user/password prompt. Enter defaults which I never changed. And I get a blank page.

You use iPad also then. I did the update with Safari and did not have an issue. In fact none of the beta testers had any major issues with this one other than the "update webpages" instead of "update package". I am not sure this update will work with the older files that you have. Does the Archon appear to be running OK other than you cannot comunicate with it?

Yes everything is running. Just no communication.

It sounds like the web server is not running or not running correctly. That may require Eric to help on this.

Got with Erik today and once again he came to the rescue. A little zip file here reboot there and he had me all up to date and running again. THANK YOU DA Erik!!!

Had a hiccup today with our internet and now I can't log into the archon. I can do it local within my network but that's it. I powered it down and pulled the network cable but still no contact. Should I do a shutdown in Archon to see if that resets it?

It may not be the Archon if you can get to it locally. More likely is that you router assigned it a different address that what it was. Did you have your router setup to reserve a address for the Archon. That way it will get the same address every time so port forwarding will work.
 
You should be able to reserve an IP for the Archon on your router also. This way every time the Archon request an IP it will get the same one from the router. Otherwise this will happen again.
 
I do have an IP addressed assigned to the Archon in the gaming section of the router where port forwarding is located. Is that what you mean? That is where I changed the IP address to match the one that showed up on the Archon.

You should be able to reserve a specific IP for a specific MAC address. This is where I did this on my Router. I have 2 IP addresses reserved here.

Any word on if/when they will be coming out with the cloud version? Over a year ago I was speaking to DA and they made it sound like it was close. If not I may bite the bullet and make a simple 'user friendly' version for a static screen and mobile.
