I'm not at liberty to say which place was taken or which image got the honors, but I've got the scary month of October ... fits the image ... hehehe ...

I was hoping to take 2 positions, which would be the max # of wins allowed. I'm sure there were some absolutely awesome images to choose from and I feel honored to represent our tiny little spec on the map for the MASNA. Look forward to hanging next years calendar already!

Thnx a lot guys, I appreciate it. It's fun to do and I enjoy it, great stress reliever. Really glad to see some club members sharpening their skills, the images showing up around here have been turned up a notch.

Dean congrats! im trying to get my dad to take some pics of my tank, he just bought an SLR and has tons of lenses from when he was big into photography before.


im always showing him pictures of yours, to give him an idea what im hoping to get pics to look like, so far not close, but were working on it!

wow.... are those microbubbles? green algae.... yuck!

The microbubbles were from a new skimmer being broken in, and yes, that is green algae on the back glass, clean-up crew was slacking, they have since stepped up to the plate.

I think your tank looks AWESOME!! You have great color variation, and the rock work is interesting- as opposed to just a wall of rock. Very nice and healthy looking corals too!!

I have 4 powerheads set on a wavemaker, 2 of them with spinners on them, makes for a hypnotizing effect.
