ok wonder if you dipp your corals how much is too much ? I mean can you do a dip a day for 3 days as to catch them getting back on or do you really need to qt them to avoid this and the hatching of new worms?

I get rid of any base where the eggs can be and dip in TMPCC for 10 to 15 minutes (add an interceptor dip for at least 6 hours at 5 times the normal strength or higher). Dipping them several times a few days apart while keeping them in QT is the best way to go.

I dip all new Acroporas (except deepwater Acros) once a day in Coral Rx for the first 7 days, then once every 2 days the 2nd week while they're in QT...even if there are no signs of AEFW. I keep them in QT for a month...or longer if I notice a problem.

and how stressed do they get and how many make it thru the dipping period?

question when dipping corals if they are on a small rock the one that they came mounted on can i dip the coral and the rock it is on since the rock is small then transport both to the QT tank I have some of the coral on plugs still the rest on small rock my whole tank is sps probably 30 pieces . any order i should start the dipping process in like small acros first larger millepora then the green slimer 2 dip buckets main dip second bucket another dip bucket and the third a cleansing bucket with no chemicles? then off to the QT?
