ok wonder if you dipp your corals how much is too much ? I mean can you do a dip a day for 3 days as to catch them getting back on or do you really need to qt them to avoid this and the hatching of new worms?
I get rid of any base where the eggs can be and dip in TMPCC for 10 to 15 minutes (add an interceptor dip for at least 6 hours at 5 times the normal strength or higher). Dipping them several times a few days apart while keeping them in QT is the best way to go.
I dip all new Acroporas (except deepwater Acros) once a day in Coral Rx for the first 7 days, then once every 2 days the 2nd week while they're in QT...even if there are no signs of AEFW. I keep them in QT for a month...or longer if I notice a problem.
