dip test strip accuracy vs. wet tests?

Does anyone know if the dip strips are any more or less sensitive/accurate than the wet chemical tests?

I have a pinpoint PH meter and ORP meter plus several wet test kits.

I'm not a big fan of the droppers or test tubes. Seems like the results could vary a bit from test to test depending on how well I do in filling the test tube to the line (do you fill to the bottom of the meniscus or the top for example. does it matter much?)

I'm thinking of doing the spot checks with test strips in the future. I'd also like to know if there is a particular brand that is considered better.

Has anyone on RC ever conducted comparisons?

I assume that most dip test strips are less accurate than the best wet test kits for some types of tests, but I've not actually seen a comparison.

I do not think you'll find dip strips for the things that I think are most important (except perhaps pH). Not for calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, for example.
