Dipped Zoas- Not looking good

I got some new Zoas yesterday and I dipped them in 1 gallon RODI with 40 drops of Lugols per bottle for 15 minutes. One of the frags looks really good, but my other one has yet to open up at all. Is there anything I can do? It was a pretty expensive frag and I really don't want to lose them. Help please. :(

Make sure you start them in the bottom of the tank and with good decent flow. Just leave them alone to get acclimatized.

JMHO but I do not use RODI as the PH seems much lower than tap. I always use tap and a little chlorine is a good thing with pest's. My tap is 8.1 PH. Just a suggestion and 15 min is a long time?? god luck and thank you for your service to our country!!

I agree that 15 minutes is a long time for a dip, and I think 40 drops may be a little excessive. IMO.
But I don't think that any amount of chlorine is good for zoanthids.
Got any info on the chlorine thing?

no-just try it. All of mine are done in tap and I have about 100gl of RODI at any given time-I just choose not to waste it on predators
