Dipping rics?

I'm thinking about purchasing some ricordia online for the first time sometime soon. Is it common to dip rics before putting them in the display? I have a QT set up and I thought I'd keep them in there for a couple weeks anyway to keep an eye out for any nasty critters. So . . . should I dip them? Will they handle it OK? I was thinking of following the recommended procedure for zoas.

dripping for a couple hours is a good idea. QT i dont think is necessary especially for a long length of time. I cant think of any diseases or parasites that would come in on Rics but someone else may know of one. I would just drip acclimate then toss them bad boys in there and enjoy JMO
