Disappearing Anenome?

So I got a rose bubble tip anenome on Friday and it's in my 40B along with two clownfish and a flame angelfish. Since then it was on the top of the middle rock with no problems. I woke up this morning to see that it vanished. I've looked around everywhere in the tank and cannot find it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might have happened?

he didnt like where he was and found a hole in is up in the hole. or he got sucked up into your filter or overflow..

I don't have any overflow for him to get sucked into so I'm thinking he's somewhere in the rocks. But how am I not able to spot him at all?

But you do have a filter right? They can get sucked up threw the tiny holes on the intake portion of the filter.

Not unusual for a new or unhappy anemone to move behind or under the rocks and shrink down into a small hole. Unless you want to pull your rocks apart to hunt for it I'd just wait for a reappearance. Not a lot to an anemone, particularly if small, so if it dies it will be cleaned up in no time; and it's unlikely to register anything like ammonia unless it was large and the tank small.

Thank you everyone I found it. It was shoved between two rocks on the underside. I'm not sure why though. It was cut off from all the light but I moved the rock a little and it's right side up and seems to be happy now
