Disappearing coral

Upon extensive searching, nothing comes up with this specific situation. My 90 Gallon SPS dominated setup HAD some zoos, mushrooms, and ricordea. Something ate them very quickly. I'm talking in the course of a month, they were all gone.

First the Zoos went and I just figured that whatever ate them will die, now that they are all gone. Well whatever it is got a taste for mushrooms and ricordea because a few weeks after that, they were all gone. Whatever is taking them is cleanly finishing one before moving to the next (including the bases where the animals attach) because I never find pieces and bites out of them like you would with nudis. It took me a while to catch on because there were never any signs of "munching", just clean and quick disappearing acts. I have a sally lightfoot, and I heard that they have a possibility of becoming coral eaters. Has anyone else had this issue?

Unless you colonies were small I can't imagine them being eaten by a salty lightfoot that fast, sometimes some Wrasses or Butterfly fish can can take a liking to Zoa's from what I've been reading.

I had two foot long yellowish worms i removed from my tank
ever since, my clam is doing better, my snails are dieing so fast
and zoas are growing faster,

i think it was the worm, i found it by removing all the rock
when i was scrubbing to get rid of bubble algae

i had a crab in my old 360 gallon that decimated about 20 rics and 100s of zoas before i even knew it was in there. look at your tank late at night after the lights have been out for a few hours. i used a flashlight with a red filter lens on it to see whats going on. your tank is like a totally new ecosystem once the lights go out and all the creepy crawlies search for food.
