:mad2:I came home from the club meeting to do my tank cleaning, when i noticed my floor bowed. I think even with all the supports i have this monster tank is to heavey for the floor. So i may have to tear down the tank and sell it yet again and down size. which i dont want to do. I will list everything i have Eddie gets the fish i got from Joel. I will be having salfin yellow eye kole tang 2 cleaner shrimp and a copper band and 1 clown fish i know i have over 400lbs of live rock with pods out the butt i spent 200 on ponds 10 bottles. i will have a calcium reactor setup with reef fanatic controler and a 20lbs co2 tank :fish1:for sale GEO brand a kalk reactoe is geo also skimmer is a MRC 3 with the genx pump moster skimmer i will have a mp40w with battery back up a korllian nitrate reactor also with ehium pump. rock will be 3.00 per pound. Just wanted to put this out before i do decide to sell i will not ship local pick up only.:fish1:
 
Is it a laminant floor and just the surface is bowed, (possibly some moisture got under it?) or do you have a basement under it and the supporting floor is overloaded? I'm wondering if it is just the floor covering that is bowed if you can cut a relief some how that can resolve the situation. Your tank is so beautifyl this is truely a terrible thing to happen.

no when i rebuilt the floor i used marine plywood i live in a trallior so i think that is the problem and this thing weight so much i would say i have almost 3,000lbs in that room
 
What kind of package deal could be done on the ca reactor kit, kalk reactor kit, and the copperband......how old is he? Does he eat prepared foods?
 
That stinks...

Wouldn't it make more sense and save money to reuse most of the equipment, liverock, etc on the smaller replacement tank than selling everything (again) and starting over (again)?

Joel all the eq i have is for a large tank 500+ gallon and would be a over kill for a small tank im going to do like a 120 cube or something eddie will get scooter lol

Well, the mag 18, skimmer, and 400w metal halides are overkill. 65g sump, MP40, RO/DI unit, reactors, heater, controller, etc. are not overkill for a 120g tank, but hey that's your call. As long as 'my' dragonnette is fine. :bigeyes:
