Disaster!! Tank Down...Need People who want Rock and Sand

Hi all...I have had a major disaster tonight. One of my hoses came detached on the tank and dumped 100-150 gals of water all over my basement. Not good! So...this is the last straw. Fire sale, tonight...anyone need good base rock? I also have a few clowns...

I have given most of my corals to a friend already...he is holding them....if he does not want them I will start to sell them later. Right now, I have Servpro here drying the basement...they ripped capret out and the cleaning is underway.

I am looking for people that can come and help me out by taking either the fish or rock off my hands...

I have the rock stored in a container with water right now...it will last a while this way, but as I said...I am done and if you want some of this stuff make me an offer.

Bummer man... that really sucks. I've had it happen to me in the past, but fortunately only on a 30g tank.

I'd be interested in some rock. I can swing by tomorrow if that works for you. Let me know.
 
Absolutely...just give me a call before you come.

Anyone need the clowns? I am going to be putting them into the holding tank soon and if you want them it would be easier to get them now.

I have a lot of Rock...probably around 100 to 150 lbs

The tank is a 125 (not reef ready, I was using an overflow...). I have a ASM G2 skimmer, 4 Hydor 4's and lots of other stuff...

I have almost 5 gals of Reef Crystals...plus lots of other stuff...

This is sad...ugh!

I will probably sell the tank also...we are having a baby any day now. My wife is 8.5 months pregnant and we are just too stressed out for this.

Very sad to hear Frank. But the loss is trivial given the forthcoming bundle the stork is bringing. All the best of luck.

How much are you seeking for the hydors and the ASM?
 
Thanks Dr! We are excited about the baby very much...it is sad half of our house is going to be torn up for a while. Ugh...we need the space!!

Wow...people are really interested in the Hydors and the Skimmer.

Ok to be fair...

Stressed Damsel was the first to ask about the Hydors. If he wants them they are his.

Dave VG asked about the skimmer...same deal, if he wants it I have to give it to him.

Only problem with all is, they were running without water for a while...I don't know if they have any damage :(

If they decide they do not want them...I'll repost and the first person to pick them up can have them. Thanks for all the interest all...this really sucks and at least I know most of the stuff will go to people who care.
 
Lighting is VHO with an Icecap Baslast. Right now, it was used with 4, 4' bulbs.

Thanks all...so far so good.

I am going to do an inventory of what I have...right now it appears everything is still in working order.

I would be interested in the clowns if you still have them. Send me a PM or call me (Im in the book). If you need a place to hold your rock, I have a couple of tanks that can hold it for you....

Ok...well...I plan to post some pictures of stuff, but for now I have a list of some of the dry goods that are for sale. These prices are all negotiable.

- 125 Gal tank ($250)
- Icecap 660 Ballast and 4 sets of VHO endcaps (I used this with 4 x 48" bulbs). From what I understand you can use this for T5's as well, you would just need to buy new end caps
- 1 Maxi Jet 1200 mod ($30)
- 1 Rio Return pump (I think it is like 400 gph) ($30)
- 1 Aqualifter pump ($12)
- 1 Amiracle wet/dry sump ($75)
- lots of rock, not all that good live rock - probably better for base rock ($1 to $2 lb)
- lots of decorative corals, good for FO tanks (offers)
- 5 gal bucket of Reef Crystals ($25)
- 2 full containers of Phosban ($8/ea)
- Joe's Juice ($5)
- various other chemicals (offers)
- 1 air pump ($10)
- Python ($5)
- 1 Eheim 1250 return pump ($40)

I have lots of other miscelaneous stuff too...if you are coming for something, I'll probably throw something in if you want it. I have a bunch of old light fixtures...good for smaller tanks and 1 small 10 gal tank too...just stuff I don't need around.

I'll get some prices on the livestock that I have left...as soon as I can.
 
Ok...still waiting to get to my friends house, but he said the corals are doing well...again, this is all housed at my friends house so getting it and seeing it is kinda tough right now. I'll get pics if I can.

As far as the livestock goes...here is what I believe I have left.

- Pink Hatian Anenome (very large, model citizen) with a piece of rock ($10) this was the first addition to my tank so it is about 18 months old

- Small Zoa rock - few different colors on it ($20)

- Bright Green Star Polyps (nice big piece-fully loaded) ($30)

- Colt Coral ($30)

- Toadstool Leather ($15)

- Kenya Tree Coral ($15)

- Fuzzy Green Mushroom rock (good size) ($35)


I think this is it, if I remember more, I'll let you know.
