Ok so i have seen alot of thread hijacking here lol lol so i figured lets just start a general discussion thread here to talk about whatever so ppl dont get their threads hijacked and get mad or something! Just an idea...

I need to get down there and get some P.E. mysis shrimp my fish go through a ton of it!

I also heard a rumor that he is getting the Reeflo line of pumps in stock very soon. Its about time somebody in this town carries them!

Tim & I are heading to the DARC frag swap on saturday is anyone else going up there?

Yea dibbs on the coolest of the 12...haha no we traded some of my coral for two clams so if you go in there you probably see my torch and my red lobo brain sitting in there.

I would think a crocea is perfect for a 6 they are the smallest of the tridacnas, with max shell length of 6 inch with I think the largest recorded length of less than 7" so realistically 5-6" max in your tank. Just gotta make sure the temp stays below say 83 and the water flow is there and you have a bright light or at least put it up at the top, they can use pretty much all the light you can throw at them.

oh ok nice.....what size would they come in at scott's 3 inches? 2 inches?

would i have to ask him to special order a small clam for me?

I dont think so, he should have small ones 2-3" is a good size, smaller than that and they have a history of not doing so well.
I saw a few at Mr Aqua yesterday but they weren't the ultra grade like Scott gets, if your going to get a clam you might as well get the best especially since he's still cheaper than most stores A grades.
