Diver's Den fish not eating

I have received from Diver's Den a Geometric Pygmy Hawk (Plectranthias sp... aka highfin perchlect anthias) for about a week,

He has not eaten anything, mysis, brine, newly hatched live brine, cyclopreeze, krill. With or without garlic.. Food just fly by him.

Even my anthias is eating from the same order, and that is a finicky eater. I am very happy all my fish from LiveAquaria always eat like a champ.. even the tough ones.

But this one from Diver's Den do not eat. My big question Do Diver's Den fish verify to be eating before they are sold? Or are they send to us almost "wild". If so please tell me what this guy was eating before they left the store? This will affect my decision to buy fish from Diver's Den in the future or not.

I am concerned about my 1" fish, it is relatively expensive. He does walk around the tank. And I didn't think he was supposed to be a difficult fish to feed, but since it is a kind of anthias, maybe I am wrong.

Thanks
Jeremy

All fish sold on Diver’s Den are eating and displaying normal behavior before they are offered on our site and shipped to their new homes.

This particular fish was kept in our holding facility for approximately a month or more before being shipped to you. During this time the Geometric Pygmy Hawk was accepting Mysis and Brine shrimp readily.

At this time we recommend that you keep an eye on the fish and continue to offer these foods to the fish.

Please PM us with your customer information so we may better assist you with this matter.

Thank you for the information. I will keep giving the brine and mysis to this little guy.

You guys have excellent practice to hold and observe the wild fishes before selling, I don't know any local fish stores that hold any fish before offering for sale. Usually they just go into a sale tank right after getting off a plane.. sometimes they get sold immediately only to die from stress, disease or infection. I will continue to buy fish from LiveAquaria and Diver's Den.
