Criccio,
Thank you for your post. All specimens that are received into our Rhinelander, WI facility are medicated. Sick or diseased fish are always offered additional medications. We have strict quarantine protocols before we offer any fish for sale in the Divers Den section of the LiveAquaria.com website. Unfortunately wild clownfish are prone to contracting a ciliated protozoan called Brooklynella. We offer many clownfish pairs on our Diver Den section of the LiveAquaria.com website, and all of the pairs are treated for this disease. Unfortunately the Akindynos did not look totally healthy on Monday so it was decided to run them through our medication regime again. The pair is still here and are under medication and observation. It will be several weeks before they come available. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we want to make sure that we send only the healthiest fish to our valued customers. If we can be any additional assistance please feel free to contact our Live Aquaria Department at 1-800-334-3699.
