ok all heres the deal.i need you guys to commit to some pipe here.i need everyone to answer in this thread to how much they would like.there is only 24' and it comes in 6' lenghts.i am only going to need 24" max.please please let me know tonight,i am going to have it picked up tomorrow.the pipe is $8/foot.

Chris - If anything is left I'll take the remaining lengths (6" to whatever). I can us this on my reef tanks or new art pieces - it will come in handy regardless. So if anyone needs it to build with us - speak up now or it's gone to ReefArtist!

What else do we need to purchase as far as acrylic pieces? Like the caps and reducers- will the regular PVC connectors fit?

I think right now we're just getting everything together. Once we have the parts for sure we'll post locaton and time. checkinhawk is getting all the acrylic together for us and I'll start going over the list to see what else will need to get our hands on. Did you want to build anything?

I actually maynot be able to use my 2' of acrylic. So if Checkinhawk does not have any left you can have mine.

Checkinhawk, Don't worry I plan to buy the acrlic anyway. I may try to use it for another project.

im still not sure of all the pieces we need.i was able to talk to the guy who has the geo i can copy,he will be out of town till sunday.i can go measure it up after sunday.i know we need some 1/4" and 3/8" acrylic sheet,some misc pvc fittings,and some quick connect fittings(like those on RO/DI makers).i now have the acrylic tubes at work.i did find out today they arent cast but that doesnt matter,it will glue up just the same.i think i may groove all of our base plates for our units,this will give a better glue joint.also im going to have to make some jigs that we can use for routing all of our parts out.i also talked to our in house machinest and he will surface the pipe ends for me(this will ensure a good joint)and from what i see we have all the pipe sold of claimed at the moment.
