DIY Magnet Scraper for Acrylic

In-A-Gadda-Divita!
I'm using the pump magnet mount with Algae Free brand pads for acrylic; the Easy Blade adapted to hold a Kent brand plastic blade for acrylic. I drilled a few holes and used nylon nuts/bolts to further secure the blade.

Super Glued it to the magnet pump mount, stuck on the wet side pads with the Velcro included with the Algae Free replacement pad kit for acrylic. Trimmed down a microfiber towel for the dry side.

The pump magnet is very strong, much stronger than my Tiger Shark cleaners AND much cheaper than a Tiger Shark. This is working exceptionally well and is by far the best thing I have made or bought that has made cleaning hard coralline from the lower parts of my 38" deep 3/4" and 1" (acrylic) very easy!

Total cost under $25!
