diy metal stand design,stronger than needed?

120 gallon 24" x 48" tank. Planning steel frame, without center support, using 1" x2" x0.125" wall. Welded of course. Three cross braces on top, and well gussetted to prevent collapse. Will this support the tank without sagging in middle?
 
tanks don't really "sag".. and most really only need support at the outer corners.

"should" be plenty strong IMO..
 
We are assuming this is a glass tank, which it sounds like. For a tank like that that thing is fine, even without the cross braces in the top. I built that same stand minus the cross braces for my tank just recently out of 11 gauge steel (1 x 2"). 11 gauge is basically what 1/8" is, if you were to find 1/8".
