Diy skimmer build up pics

Here is the new skimmer build up I have been working on. Its a recirc design that will be gravity feed, and air injected with a corallife luft pump.

Here is the whole skimmer, you can see the 2 liter bottle for reference.

Here is the recirc pump a ocean runner 2700.

Collection cup and 3" union I used to seperate the cup. I cut down the union to make the size more managable.

This is what I used to narrow down the body size to the neck of the skimmer.

There it is Hope it works well when I can fire it up.

I'm not sure if this fits in with the recirculation concept, but how about putting a needle wheel impeller in the recirc pump? Then you'd have an insane amount of bubbles.

Agree.
Can always change out later I suppose.
