I decided to get rid of the stuff I was going to build the skimmer for my future tank with. It's just a pile of parts but for a good DIY person it would be a great start. Here's what I've got...
8†x 29" x 1/4" wall Acrylic tube mounted on 1/2" thick black acrylic base, routed and polished
6" x 6" cast acrylic tube
1.5†gray GF single union ball valve
¾†gray GF true union ball valve
1.5†gray PVC EL
1.5†gray PVC cap
1.5†gray PVC T
1/5†black PVC spigot EL
New Quiet one 4000 pump
Mesh and zip ties
1.5†uniseal
¾†uniseal
¾†barbed adapter for intake
8†length of ¾†black PVC
(2) 3†lengths of 1†black PVC
Machined 1†Union for pump to body joint
The 8" acrylic tube has been sitting in a closet for over a year and is a little scuffed but is mounted on a nicely constructed base. I don't have the time to help anyone build this thing so please don't ask...I was hoping to get $250 for all of it....
