Is there any way to do a DIY underwater housing for any camera. something like with heat sealed plastic?

Im looking for a underwater housing for a Fuji Finepix S5200 but I haven't found it. I do have 2 more cameras but this is the one that I use the most.

They have been made, do a search on the net
Not sure I would trust a DIY
How deep are you planning on going?
I bought a 5m setup w/flash & underwater housing for less then $700
The camera is easily replaceable & small enough for a pocketbook - which is why my wife wanted it

I have search all over and haven't find anything for a Fuji S5200.

Im gonna try with and old camera since I wont go deper than 20'

I have a FreshLock Turbo Seal. I have use this seal other stuff to protect them from the water until I really need them and then I seal them back. So far I have test it in the badtub and not a single drop of water inside, but my consern is the pressure.

Any advice

If you are only going to 30' you may be able to get away with heavy duty sealed bag
They actually make them for cameras

They advertise for a depth of 60'

Pressure will be a factor, if it compresses the bag too much it could press against any part of the camera & cause a leak
Sharp "pokey" stuff underwater is anothe rproblem

If you want to DIY, I have seen cyclinders created, sealed at one end, clamp shut at the other. Most of these have been for video - put it in, turn it on, seal the door, dive - it stays running

For a camera you want to be able to use the functions
For film a remote shutter button was used, not sure if yours has that capability

When I was looking for a Digital camera, everyone I looked at, I checked 1st to see if I could buy a housing :D

This is the one I bought - made for underwater:
