Do all Pocillopora suck?

Really.. do all subspecies and types end up asexually spreading like GSP? Is the polyp bailout normal for all tanks ULNS to Nutrient heavy?

Saw some pretty Pocillopora Ankeli for sale but only read negative experiences from the forums.

Just regular green pocollipora. And while my reef is way sps heavy, I bought a bunch of live rock that seems to keep popping them up everywhere.

I see. So it sounds like they were on the live rock when you got it.

I'm just trying to figure out if this pocci im buying will end up being an issue, if I maintain stable parameters/flow conducive to an sps heavy tank.

The only one I have not had blow up with babies everywhere is the one from chris gadgets that branches a little more spaced out and is green and pink. But it could decide to do the same thing whenever it wants to and if it does it will be the last poci I keep. I have had it for maybe 5 years or more.

It is why many have a no-poci policy.

I have a no Monti (except for Leng Sy), Birdsnest or Stylo policy too.

15 years in the hobby with pocilipora for most of them and never had bail out. Imo some types are worse and others are safe.
