Usually you have to peel it off. This is assuming the foot is on the coral. Oftentimes, the foot of the anemone will smother the coral and remove tissue in the process.
The ideal anemone for a mixed reef is one that lives in the sandbed. If you keep your corals out of reach, both should thrive.
If you want to keep a rock dwelling anemone, it's best to give it its own island free of LPS or SPS. It may do okay with softies. Under optimal conditions (good lighting and flow and stable water chemistry) nems typically don't move around much.
I found with my nem, if they don't like the flow or they aren't getting food, they'll move on their own. Maybe you can get one to volunteer to move if you make the current location unpleasant.
