Do anemones sting or kill corals?

Yeah but I think in most all cases, the anemone wins. Which is why some dont like BTA or condys as they can roam around your tank.

Coral Vs. BTA the BTA usually wins

But in BTA Vs. power head, the power head always wins and everything dies

the end.

how do you make the anemone move if its stuck to a coral?

Usually you have to peel it off. This is assuming the foot is on the coral. Oftentimes, the foot of the anemone will smother the coral and remove tissue in the process.

The ideal anemone for a mixed reef is one that lives in the sandbed. If you keep your corals out of reach, both should thrive.

If you want to keep a rock dwelling anemone, it's best to give it its own island free of LPS or SPS. It may do okay with softies. Under optimal conditions (good lighting and flow and stable water chemistry) nems typically don't move around much.

I found with my nem, if they don't like the flow or they aren't getting food, they'll move on their own. Maybe you can get one to volunteer to move if you make the current location unpleasant.

How are you determining that it's moving because it's not getting food?

The general consensus is that because nems are photosynthetic, they don't need to be fed (though I like feeding mine!).
