Do any of you guys ever buy Copepods

I bought them once about a year ago and it definitely made a huge difference in the tank copepod population. I don't have anything in tank that needs to eat them to survive (that I'm aware of).

Just curious of your thoughts on the subject.

I added pods on an order from reefs 2 go when they were 1/2 off, just helps when starting a new system. I think PAW in Lynchburg sells bottles of live pods as well.

Yep, that would be a bit high. I'm not new to the hobby, but no expert either...and some times you just don't know the "best practices" until you ask. Thanks for the input.

I was searching some of the older post in this former trying to educate myself since I'm just starting out and trying to learn and get familiar with the people in our local area. Just curious if copepods are a must have or a treat or for difficult to feed fish. I'm not even sure if they are just for fish or other inhabitants. Any insights would be great.

Shipping is always something like $13.00 and they often have BOGO.

Have purchased twice for separate tanks and really added a lot of pods to both.

Tried buying plants there but they were DOA. Pods were fine both times. Also bought hermits on same order and they were in great shape.
