For the naysayers, please open your copy of this book (and if you don't have it, go get it or you're not a real reefer ) I too have drooled over Ricardo's tank, and those resplendens in the front...

OT but Hormigaquatica, do you have any more info on Ricardo's aquarium online, or just the book?

i used to.....killed it this summer along with most everything else......

incidentally.......i picked this up a few years ago from one of the ten for $100 specials from seacrop

I regret that this pic was taken when I used 14k bulbs, but I assure you its really blue....and would look as such under the 10k xm's i use now

After seeing the orange hammer sit at work for the last several months, I finally had to bite the bullet and get it. I just got it in the tank, so its not open much yet, and yes the halides are out for the night so this is just a T-5 actinic. Overall, I have to admit the photo pretty much sucks 100%, just use it to compare the color to the normal green frogspawns by it But its still pretty freaking orange even with the halides one. Just crossing my fingers that it recovers from the move alright- it was not pleased about the trip home.

Were you able to get a pic of the orange hammer with the halides on?
