Do any of you use 2" Durso's on your tanks

I have 4 2" durso's on my 400 running 2 AM 3000 pumps. I haven't touched the return pipes in 2 1/2 yrs. One of these days though I'm going to have to remove all the tube worms and such that are growing in the pipes.

I have a 2" drain with durso on my 600gal... As jeffbrig stated you can use Gutterguard to keep snails and what not out... I didn't want attach the Gutterguard right to the durso so I picked up a slip fitting that could be removed so ease of maintenance...

How large is that durso? Where did you get that screen?

The sched 80 BH and durso are both 2"... You should be able to pick up the GutterGuard from Lowes and HD... It will come in a small roll and I believe it is found around where the screens are sold for door and what not...

Great Idea using guttergaurd. It actually makes a ton of sense. After all, that is its job--to keep pipes from getting cloged. :)

What is a stockman? I have two 2" drains but made the overflows a little too small for the Durso and its not that quiet. What are these Stockmans and are they quiet?
