Do Clownfish need an anemone?

Hey, I'm a college student and i have a 15 gallon nano with two false percs. I had a LTA for a few months while it was growing but it got too big so i removed it. My question is do clownfish need an anemone to be happy? My main worry is that they will have nothing to sleep in and will get exhausted from continually swimming. I also only have one coral ( i blame being a poor college student. :) ) It's an acropora and therefore inadequate for my clowns to host in. Will the clowns adapt and be able to cope with swimming more than they used to, or do i need to get them another -- more nano appropriate -- anemone?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Cheers

No. Most tank raised clowns have never seen an anenome, so don't worry about it. My clowns are full of life during the day time and at night I always see them swimming to keep themselves in place. Its good exercise for the :P But really, no need... I see mine resting on anything including rocks. lol

Thanks. Does it matter how much flow there is in the tank? I have 200 gph pump hooked up to a SCWD which alternates about every 7 seconds. This produces alot of current so is it still ok for them to have no place to rest? I guess if nothing else, they'll lose some weight. ; )
