I was looking for my new (expensive ) wrasse and can't find it in the cave where it has been hanging out. Instead, I saw a large gorilla crab.

Hopefully, the wrasse found a new hiding place and I'll see it again in the morning. But it made me think . . . do gorilla crabs go after fish? I'm gonna be PO'd if this thing got my new fish.

yes, all crabs will. especially if they are traped in a hole/cave. wrasse sleep at night and it may have crept up in the night. REEF-ON!!!

I hope he didn't, I got a new coral a couple years ago, and he hitched hike in, with in a week there was nothing left. It was like someone threw Edwardscissor hand in there.
Hopefully he got away.

i heard of gorilla nipple zoos, and reverse gorilla nipple zoos... but never a GORILLA crab!

do they have gorilla nipples? or reverse gorilla nipples?

huh?

I found my wrasse - he had a new sleeping place.

This is a Gorilla crab. It came on my TBS rock along with about 20 others. I never did catch him and now he's quite big.

from the TBS website.
