Do hippo tangs school?

My girlfriend has been begging me to get dory since my last one came up missing.While LA has a tank raise trio on DD and I was wondering since they were selling them as a trio would they school.They are on the small side like
2 1/8- @ 3/8.Would it be better to get the small tank raised trio or the 5 1/4?

very few fish will school. Tangs form shoals. They are not going to swim together at all times. Not like you think. I have two together. That very rarely are very far apart, but dont swim together. In fish tanks big fish arent going to do either of the above.

Would 3 hippos be a problem in a 430 ?I have 2 tangs already a vlamingii and a orange shoulder tang.
