do I have a pair?

I have a black and whit perc. and a true perc. They follow eachother around everywhere and are usually always swimming together, they also sleep together. However sometimes they do sperate for over a half an hour or more. Are they still a pair when they seperate for that long?

if they arent paired yet they are well on their way. if they sleep together it's a sure sign
