Do I Have Red Bugs?

I just bought an aussie icefire enchinata frag and placed it in my tank. I don't think I have had red bug before so not familiar. Two other frags from the same LFS looks fine, but this one lost color right away and looks to be bleaching with no PE. I shined flashlight on it and can see a bunch of bugs on it. Not sure if they are the good pods or red bugs. It is almost clear to brown color. No red dot that I can see. Do you think I have red bugs?

Here is a picture of the frag. You can't really see the bug on the frag since my camera cannot take a closer up picture. The bugs are not circular bu have a more elongated shape. No obvious yellow body with red dot on the head. That's why I am not sure what I have.

Did you dip it before putting it in your tank?

Yes, I always do a dip with Revive before putting the coral in my display tank. I also remove any frag plug that it is on. The bug is moving fast and looks like the rest of the amphipods on my rocks and sand.

I have a ton of what you describe that like to hang out on the front glass of my DT, especially under my mag cleaner. I have seen only a few on one of my acros that I had in the sand bed due to an alk swing and bleaching. I haven't noticed them anywhere else.

So you you didnt notice anything fall off in the dip? I would say you are okay, but with a good macro pic of the coral, its just a guess.
