DO I have room to throw chaeto in my sump?

I'm just amazed how get the water to not just spill out the left side of the sump and how you get the sand to cling to that right side of the display!

huh? The water is only 60% sump height, why would it spill out?

He’s being a smart a#s. Sometimes the pictures don’t load right from OS. You could grow it in the first camber but would have issue with cheato getting in you skimmer, plus the light would grow algea in all cambers. What I did Is removed the skimmer in favor of a HOB, and grow cheato in the sump now. Full of pods, PH rock steady at night, and the combo of the skimmer and cheato I have had 0 phosphates and nitrates for three years now, been having to add both.

oh ok thx... Ya ive been fighitng GHA and finally got an accurate reading of my phosphates 200ppb with ULR so thats like .6132 phoshpates ppm. getting GFO tomorrow and still dosing nopox, was exploring chaeto as an option but I seam limited with space.

Yes. You can use a hang on refugium to hang on the front or back of your sump provided you have an adequate water supply/pump. I ran one back in the day off my solana and loved it. Tons of life in those little things.
