Do I need to cook Marco Rocks?

Sorry, the post got buried and I didn't post the results. 1/30 is effective but takes 2.5 hours to dissolve an asterina starfish. By 7:00 AM (12 hours) the seawead was mostly dissolved and broken into tiny pieces. That was as far as I took the experiment. It does seem that there is some benifit to the bleach.

Just an update from my end. The rocks have been cooking since March 19th in the garbage can in the garage and they are not looking bad at all. I need to clean out the canister filter and do a bit of a water change, but nothing nasty yet!
