Actually if you iodine dip a sps infected with redbugs, the redbugs will die. This is good for pieces before they enter your tank. The whole reason why people dose interceptor is b/c if the infected piece is in your tank chances are that the redbugs are all over your tank. Although I'm not sure why you even brought up redbugs as redbugs don't infect LPS.
