Do I NEED to spot feed any of these ?

I have Ricordia Yuma, a Kenya Tree, a 1 head frogspawn frag, and a single head of tyree green toadstool. I don't think that I NEED to spot feed any of these, right ? They just get food from the water column, correct ?

If feeding them is required, or produces some interesting response (like tentacles moving food toward a mouth), what should I feed to them ?

TIA,
Richard

I dont target feed and my rics,frogspawn,k-tree are doing fine my branching hammer went from 3 heads to like 12 withouth the small ones in a few months

no need target feed IMO

I've tried feeding my frogspawn but it usually rejects food when I ty to target feed it, with that said I do often see it picking up food on it's own from the water cloumn, same with my torch, they both started off with 3 heads & 8 months later they've quadrupled in size........

I spot feed my frogspawn some frozen mysis and brine shrimp. I use a turkey baster and gently allow some of the food to go onto the frogspawn. It discards what it does not want and then the fish take care of the rest.

I have never target fed any of these and they have all grown great and all look healthy. I really don't feed much at all to any of my corals.

No feeding is needed with adequate lighting!
I got a tiny frag of a kenya tree , it was about an inch and a half and in about four months it has grown to the size of a softball . It has recently started dropping branches now i have 5 new kenyas.

I don't think you ever need to target feed. With adequate flow you can place food by a powerhead and it will spread through out the tank. If you have fish you really don't need to directly feed your softies at all. With good lighting + fish poo = food for corals!
